A top gardener from Cwmbran was in last weekend’s Sunday Mirror sharing his tips on growing giant vegetables. Kevin Fortey and his brother Gareth are among the UK’s top experts on growing giant vegetables.

In 2011 Kevin’s six-year-old son won the UK title for growing the biggest sunflower head…a whopping 67inches in circumference.
