Cwmbran Community Council pays grants to two organisations

The grants committee of Cwmbran Community Council approved payments to two organisations at its latest meeting.

  • Torfaen Museum Trust will receive £3,000 to go with Welsh Government match funding to help towards paying for repairs and improvement work to the courtyard. This grant comes from the council’s ‘Other Community Projects Fund’.
  • The CoStar Partnership Grant has given £2,250 towards a Freezer- £500, Fridge- £150, Filing Cabinet- £150, Roll cages for food  £200, CCTV- £500, Printer- £500, and signage- £250. This funding comes from the council’s anti-poverty budget
