CCYP is opening on Christmas Day

Cwmbran Centre for Young People is opening for the first time on Christmas Day this year. Staff will be putting on a Christmas dinner for young people who are homeless or live on their own.

Can you help out by donating gifts or food?

Leigh Rowland, CCYP’s business development manager, said: “There will be a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. We talked about it and felt that are many young people who probably can’t afford to put on a dinner for themselves or have family to visit.

“Many youngsters are homeless and ‘sofa surf’ and may be worried about where they can spend Christmas Day.

“If you want to come or know anyone who would like to come please give the centre a call on 01633 875851 to book a place.”

You can keep up to date with what’s happening at CCYP through the Facebook page and Twitter.
