Fairwater high school boot sale in Cwmbran started up again for  the spring and summer on Sunday 4 March. Have a look at this cracking photo on google earth of this popular boot sale. The tag in the corner says it was taken on 6 January 2004.

The boot sale starts at 12.30pm. Cars £4 Vans £5.

 No queing at the gates. Cars must not be parked on the main road or  the verges. Police community support officers have been spotted on Ty Gwyn Way checking out badly parked cars during the event. So if you do go along park in a safe place even if that means you have to walk a bit further to carry your bargains back to your car.

Fairwater must be one of the few boot sales with its own Facebook group. The last sale this year will be on Sunday 2 September so there is plenty of time to empty your attic and make a few quid.
