A Cwmbran amateur boxer has won his second bout. Cory Haynes, aged 22, boxes for Torfaen Warriors ABC. Last weekend Cory beat Lee Frampton by stoppage on a show in Guernsey.

Cory and a team of boxers from across Wales travelled to Guernsey as part of a Welsh Select team. They beat the Channel Island team 8 – 2. The Welsh team manager was the former Wales amateur boxing national coach Tony Williams.

Cory has won both his bouts by stoppage. He steps into the ring again in three weeks, this time on a show in Jersey.
