Campaigners against the proposed Mynydd Maen Wind Farm are holding an event in Cwmbran on Saturday 3 May.
They say it’s now reached the stage when members of the public can make an objection to the plans for 13 turbines, each up to 149.9m tall overlooking Cwmbran, Penyrheol and Pantygasseg.
A page has been set up on their website where members of the public can give their views. to the Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW), the body responsible for making the final decision.
The drop-in information session is from 5pm to 8.30pm at the Mount Pleasant Hall, Pontnewydd NP44 1AN.
Organisers of the event said in a social media post: “This is an opportunity to learn more about the windfarms that are planned for Mynydd Maen, to meet up and find out what action you can take.”
Kris Roberts, an ecologist, shared his views in this Cwmbran Life interview on how he feels the ecology in the area could be affected.
