Top south Wales band Big Mac’s Wholly Soul Band is in town tomorrow night (Fri 9 May) to mark Cwmbran Celtic Club’s 50 year anniversary.

Tickets are just £10 to see them on stage at the Parish Hall of Our Lady of the Angels RC school on Victoria Street in Old Cwmbran.

It starts at 7pm. Tickets are on the door or call Andrew Meaney on 07929 403 417.

The successful club runs teams from under six right through to ones for senior men and women.

The club was established in 1923 but reformed in 1964 to compete as Cwmbran Celtic. Their clubhouse off Oak Street in Old Cwmbran has been their based since 1979.

The Big Mac night is just the start of a series of events to mark their Golden Anniversary.
