Almost 600 advent calendars selection boxes at Croesyceiliog School ready to share with community

Croesyceiliog School pupils teamed up with local community groups and collected almost 600 selection boxes.

The school’s Interact Club, a group of pupils and staff who volunteer for a variety of community projects inside and outside school, joined forces with Henllys Rotary Club and other organisations. So far 588 advent calendar sand selection boxes have been donated.

Around 500 will be given to the Eastern Valley Foodbank and the rest will go to Croesy Food Share Hwb.

A Facebook post by the Eastern Valley Foodbank said: “Thank you so much for this amazing donation, we are so very grateful for this, now every child we support will get an advent calendar.”
