Sarah Mayers passed away in November 2025. The 53‑year‑old from Trevethin was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in 2024.

One of the most important things on her “bucket list” was to “save someone else” by sharing her story and raising awareness of the cancer.

Her husband Ady Mayers is continuing that mission. He has covered his new van with information about the cancer, a link to the charity’s website, and a QR code for anyone wanting to learn more.

The couple did something similar with the van they used to drive around the UK on adventures including BMW racing at Castle Combe Circuit, a visit to Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm, and a helicopter ride over Glastonbury.

Ady’s new van also features photos of Sarah proudly wearing the shirt of her beloved Wrexham AFC, taken during another of her bucket‑list moments – watching the Red Dragons play at home at the Racecourse Ground.

If you see the Ady in the van, feel free to chat to him and find out more.
