A band who have twice sold out Newport’s 500‑capacity Corn Exchange will return to Crow Fest for their second appearance.
2Rude were popular with festival-goers at the 2024 event at Cwmbran Stadium and are making a return to the Cwmbran Community Council-organised event this year.
2Rude bassist Paul McCarthy said: “We travel all around the UK and abroad, going as far as Bahrain last year. We are looking forward to playing locally in front of friends, family and long-standing supporters of the band, because we don’t play many shows locally these days with our busy schedule.”
2Rude are a seven-piece authentic two-tone Ska band that play covers from bands such as Madness, The Specials, The Beat and Bad Manners.
Paul added: “Our performances are full of energy and enthusiasm. This naturally gets people dancing, so we like to create a party atmosphere.”
During December of 2025, the band played their second consecutive sold-out Christmas bash at Newport’s Corn Exchange, keeping the room bouncing throughout.
Paul said: “Our audiences love to dance and sing along with us. We love to leave them smiling and out of breath.”
