Organisers of a football match in Cwmbran raising money for men’s mental health charity Andy’s Man Club are appealing for raffle prizes.
The Conner Tubb Memorial Match was first held last year, and the event helped lead to a Cwmbran group of Andy’s Man Club being set up. The group now meets every Monday from 7pm to 9pm at Llanyrafon Social Club.
Volunteers share a weekly Facebook update showing how many men attend – a simple but powerful way of highlighting the impact the group is having in the community.
This year’s memorial match takes place on Sunday 30 August.
Anyone able to donate a raffle prize is asked to contact Lavinia Morris on 07807 078497. A GoFundMe page has also been set up for direct donations.
