Ffion is now 11. In that photo, she’s sat on the lap of her bampi, Mostyn Arnold. He passed eight years ago with Motor Neurone Disease.
She was the youngest person to abseil down the side of the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association on Sunday 14 June 2026..
She took part in the fundraiser with her mum, Kimberley Arnold and her partner Joshua Symonds.

Kimberley, from Oakfield, wrote on the sponsorship page: “On 1 June 2018, my dad was diagnosed with this horrific disease. Just 19 days later, on 20 June, we lost him. After a long chat, Josh and I decided we wanted to do something meaningful in his memory and raise money for such an important cause.
“When we explained this to Ffion and told her it’s how her Grampy passed, she asked if she could help raise money too – just like he helped raise her.”
