Torfaen Council has published the key application dates for nursery, reception and secondary school admissions for children starting in 2027.
Parents and carers can apply online and will receive an instant acknowledgement, followed by an email on the official decision date. The council is encouraging families to apply before the deadline to avoid missing out on their preferred school.
Key dates include:
- Nursery: For placements in January 2027, April 2027 and September 2027, parents can apply until 5pm on 20 July 2026.
- Reception: Apply from 13 November 2026 until 5pm on 15 January 2027.
- Secondary: Apply from 18 September 2026 until 5pm on 30 October 2026.
