Llanryafon FC’s pan-disability section was only set up around 20 months ago, but the players are already enjoying success on the pitch – and lots of fun off it.

The club has four teams for players with disabilities, with three teams playing in the South Wales Pan-Disability League.

Marcus Hall, club coach, said their Championship team won their league, their Premier team came second (two points off the top spot) in their league and the under 16s came third (five points off second). The club started an under-12s team earlier this year with plans for them to join the league in September 2026.

The club’s pan-disability section teamed up with Llanyrafon FC’s under-tens for an end-of-season joint tour to Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Exmouth earlier this month.

Marcus said: “What a weekend it was, full of sun, sea and a kangaroo court. It was the pans’ first tour and every one of them thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for next year.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to watch these players grow in confidence, ability and social skills.

“I like to give a shout out to all our other coaches and the parents involved as it wouldn’t be possible without their support. What an amazing season on and off the pitch, long may it continue.”
