A Wild West–themed fundraiser is heading to Pontypool later this month as part of Relay for Life Pontypool’s efforts to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The Rootin’ Tootin’ Rodeo, hosted by Rhys Williams Linedance, takes place on Friday 24 April at 7pm at PILCS Football Club (NP4 0TL).
The evening will include a beginner‑friendly line‑dancing session, followed by a “freestyle hoedown” with local radio station SW20. Organisers say fancy dress is “strongly encouraged”, with prizes and plenty of cowboy‑themed fun planned.
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £8 for ages 14 to 17. A raffle will run on the night and the “saloon bar” will be open throughout.
All proceeds will support Relay for Life Pontypool’s fundraising for Cancer Research UK.
