A free drop‑in Well‑being Day will take place later this month in Pontypool.
It will bring together council teams and local organisations to offer practical advice and support on all aspects of financial, physical, mental and social well‑being.
The event, held at the Halo Pontypool Active Living Centre, will run from 10am to 4pm on Thursday 29 January.
Visitors will be able to take part in a range of activities, including blood‑pressure checks, carbon‑monoxide testing and other practical health assessments.
There will also be demonstrations of simple, evidence‑based techniques to help manage anxiety, along with an exercise competition offering the chance to win a leisure pass. A raffle with various prizes will run throughout the day.
Organisers say the event is designed for anyone wanting to explore local support services, ask questions or pick up everyday tips to improve their well‑being. It is open to both the public and council staff.
