Pubs and clubs across Cwmbran, Caerleon, Newport, and Pontypool are being invited to take part in a brand-new Friday Night Singles Darts League, kicking off in January 2026.
Organisers are calling on venues to get involved by hosting weekly matches, which promise a competitive but friendly atmosphere and a great way to bring in players and customers on Friday nights. The league is open to all levels of players, male or female, and will follow a format of five singles matches, best of five legs.
Lee Hopkins, who is coordinating the league, said the aim is to create a fun and inclusive darts community while boosting footfall for local venues.
