Boxers from Torfaen Warriors ABC are celebrating cracking back-to-back results at two recent tournaments.
Five of them entered the National Association of Boys & Girls Club’s Championships in Port Talbot, and all of them were crowned as new Welsh champions. Tyler (16), Jenzen (15), Isabelle (15), Jedikiah (15), and Shane (15) will compete this weekend in the quarter finals at Caldicot Leisure Centre. Good luck!
And last month, they travelled to Sophia Gardens in Cardiff for the Welsh Box Cup, returning with four gold medals and one silver. The boxers were Reuben, 13 (Gold), Nathan, 16 (Silver), Samuel, 12 (G), Tyler 16 (Gold), and Jenzen, 15 (Gold).
Torfaen Warriors’ gym is next to Cheeky Monkeys soft play centre in Fairwater. The club also runs a women’s only class every Sunday from 10am to 11am.
