Age Connects Torfaen held a VE Day Celebration in their Widdershins Centre in Sebastopol on Thursday 8 May.
Around 60 people attended with one person saying: “What a wonderful day. The VE Day celebration was full of joy, music, and great company. It brought back so many special memories and made me feel truly valued.”
A relative of a family member who went to the event said: “Events like the VE Day celebration mean so much to us. It gave my loved one a chance to reminisce, smile, and feel part of something special—and for me, it was a rare and welcome moment to relax and enjoy it alongside them. We’re so grateful for the support and thought that goes into making these moments happen.”
