The walls of Gallery 1 in Llantarnam Grange are covered with 145 pieces of artwork to mark the venue’s 60th anniversary.
It opened its doors as an arts venue in Cwmbran on 30 April 1966.
Louise Jones‑Williams, director of Llantarnam Grange, said: “We did an open call for artists of all ages to apply. One hundred and forty-five are exhibiting from schoolchildren right through to participants in our clubs and classes, right up to professional artists that we’ve worked with lots of times in the past.
“We had an amazing celebration for the opening.”
Visitors are welcome to look around the gallery and an exhibition showcasing the history of the site dating back to the 12th century.
Llantarnam Grange is open Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4pm. Last food orders in the cafe- 2.30pm. The cafe closes at 3.15pm
