Cwmbran’s Dave Phillips teamed up with Hazel Chaisty to take Bronze in the Recurve Open Mixed Team event at the European Para-Archery Championships in Pilsen, Czech Republic.
Dave, who competed at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games for Team GB, told Cwmbran Life it came down to a one arrow shoot-off after Turkey and Great Britain levelled. He got up and under pressure he hit the ten to win.
