Croesyceiliog School’s girls under 13 team won the regional EFL Trust cup run by Newport County FC. Across the UK every one of the 72 English Football League clubs organise a six-a-side competition in their area.
Today at Cwmbran Stadium, the team from Croesyceiliog School got through to the final where they beat Brynmawr School 1-0. The girls now go through to the regional finals. The final of the tournament is held at Wembley Stadium.
