Cwmbran’s newest gym, Simply Gym, opens at 10am on Monday 25 January and brings 12 new jobs to the town.
Simply Gym Cwmbran is in the Leisure @ Cwmbran complex above Frankie & Benny’s.
Members can use the latest top of the range Life Fitness equipment, free weights, strength equipment, web-enabled machines, a full range of treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and step machines, stretch areas and a large ‘synrgy’ rig.
Rhys Jenkins, general manager of Simply Gym Cwmbran, said: “This is excellent news for Cwmbran as our new club will bring high-quality health and fitness at a flexible and affordable price. Those in the community who couldn’t afford to commit to membership in the past will now be able to make the most of our excellent facilities. We are also delighted to bring new jobs to the community and have created a total of 12 jobs so far.”
Simply Gym Cwmbran will be open seven days a week from early to late. It’s fitted with lockers and changing facilities. The club also features a Soundjack“soundjack” music system, which enables members to choose the playlist and decide what music is played.

A variety of flexible memberships are available starting at £15.99 per-month. If you sign up online before the 25 January your first month will be free if you choose a 12 month membership.
Membership includes a free personal training session on joining where a qualified gym instructor will help you develop a personal programme to make sure you achieve your goals.
