Wales and British Lion rugby player Robert Jones comes to Cwmbran

Robert Jones is the guest speaker at a charity dinner in Cwmbran next week. Tickets for the Welsh Charitables RFC’s vice presidents dinner are on sale now at £35 per head. Call 07973 705062 to reserve your seat.

The former Swansea, Barbarian, Wales & British Lions Scrum Half will be joined by other popular names from the rugby world.

David Power, secretary of the Welsh Charitables RFC, said: “This is a Night Wtih The Jones’s as not only will Robert Jones be present and be made an Honorary VP so will Newport Gwent Dragons, Lyn Jones, Kingsley Jones and his son Dorian Jones. We  also have Ian Gough and the former scrum half David Llewellyn.”

It is on Friday 15 August 2014 at Greenmeadow Golf & Country Club.

Terry Cobner, David Watkins, JPR Williams, Bryn Meredith, Stuart Watkins, Dai Morris, Arthur Lewis, Charlie Faulkner, Adrian Hadley, John Perkins, and Nigel Meek will also be there.

All money raised at the dinner will go to the Welsh Charitables RFC Benevolent Fund who in the past have supported St Anne’s Hospice, WREX the Welsh Former International Players Benevolent Association, Ty Hafan, The Princes Trust Cymru and St David’s Hospice Care.

The event is a 6.30pm meet for 7.15 sit down.
