A dog walker was terrified yesterday when she saw this boy edging along the bridge over the railway track in Llanyrafon.

She said: “When I approached he was walking along the ledge and his friends were following him from the road side.

“I thought he was trying to go over the railway bit and maybe he was, but he slipped and he was dangling for a bit. I really couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t believe my eyes and then he got back up on the ledge and when he was secure I shouted at him to go back the way he’d come.

“My dog got on those railway tracks a few weeks ago and I was hysterical as the trains are so frequent and I was so scared that this boy was going to fall onto them and into an oncoming train.”

This is the road bridge on Llanfrechfa Way. You can see the railway line that runs under the bridge. The boy was spotted walking along the ledge on the other side of that wall.
