A car has been driven around Penlyan Fields in Coed Eva, the home of Cwmbran Town AFC youth section.

Teams from under six to under 16s use the pitch. Gobsmacked club officials spotted the damage on Monday morning so think it happened last night. One of the railings that spectators lean on during games was also removed and thrown on the pitch.
The car got on to the pitch by driving along the top perimeter and then through the entrance used by tractors to cut the grass.
The club lease the pitch off Torfaen Council. This means any repair bill will be paid out of the club’s limited funds. The young players are due to play their next home matches this Saturday.
