Halloween fun at Greenmeadow Community Farm in Cwmbran

The animals at Greenmeadow community farm were surrounded by witches, wizards and ghouls this evening.

Hundred of the visitors to the Halloween night event dressed up.

Entertainment included a grizzly murder to solve, a haunted house and a scary tractor ride in the dark. The house had scary characters jumping out at every turn. My 5yo was too scared and quickly wanted to leave.

The tractor ride was brilliant. At a turning point a gang of ghouls came running out of the dark while screaming. It was very scary. One character even had a chainsaw.

The murder scene involved a pair of legs sticking out of a shredder. Visitors had to get clues and interview suspects around the scene.

There were a lot of smiling scary faces at this event. I rounded off a good night with a real ale from the outside bar.

We bought our tickets yesterday and the discounted price of £5.50 each. This meant we didn’t have to join the long queue for the 6pm opening.
