Cwmbran couple in the audience of top TV shows

Million Pound Drop Live
Corrine and Mark's heads are the two on the left

The chances are you have seen Cwmbran couple Mark and Corrine Ward-Jones on the telly. They love being in the audience of the country’s best-loved programmes. Mark feature in yesterday’s post talking about how he was hypnotised by Derren Brown. I was amazed when he told me how many shows they had been to see filmed.

In the last few years they have watched:
Derren Brown “Miracles For Sale” (Mark took part)
Top Gear
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
Friday Night With Jonathon Ross
Ant & Dec’s Push The Button
Shooting Stars
Million Pound Drop
X-Factor Auditions
Britain’s Got Talent Auditions
Dame Edna’s Spa Treatment

The tickets are always free but the only snag is the best shows usually have a long waiting list.

Mark said: “The researcher from Top Gear called us on a Monday and filming was on Wednesday.”

They had waited over a year for Top Gear to call and even then it was due to other audience members dropping out. A work meeting for Mark clashed with Who Wants to be with a Millionaire but the show were happy to give them tickets to a show one day later.

Mark said: “We were able to swap our Millionaire tickets for another day. When Chris Tarrant came out he told us the previous night someone won £1 million! That was the original show we had tickets for. That was a bit annoying.”

You can apply for free tickets to BBC shows by clicking http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/tickets/ For other channels simply google but make sure you are only using an official site.

Here are some pics from Mark and Corinne’s travels.
