Cwmbran’s Greenmeadow Community Farm was taken over by pirates today , as Welsh language channel S4C’s children’s character, Ben Dant came to town.

Ben Dant, Wales’ friendliest pirate, was at the farm to entertain local kids during two fun-filled shows of songs and games. He is one of the many colourful characters who are part of S4C’s Cyw service for pre-school kids.

As well as hunting buried treasure, there’s nothing Ben Dant loves more than to sing and play, and there was plenty of fun to be had with his new friends at the grounds of Greenmeadow Farm.

He said: “I had a great time today with the little pirates of Cwmbran! Here lies some of the greatest fun-loving pirates of the seven seas. I would have them in my crew any day. Ahoy!”
